THE SAFEST JEANS ON THE EARTH

For over 30 years, PMJ have been manufacturing jeans in their own factory, with the level of true craftmanship one would expect from a passionate Italian manufacturer. Looking for something more than just fashion, the owners have dedicated the entire factory production to their one true love - motorcycling. Not only that, they have scoured the planet to find the most advanced materials to make their jeans the safest jeans on the earth.

ARAMID FIBRE FABRIC:

PMJ use an Aramid fiber fabric, named TWARON®, in a very thick 0.8mm, with a flat construction of warp and weft. TWARON is also used in the production of  bullet-proof vests and the resistance is much higher than mixed Kevlar®/Cotton fabrics.

TWARON SEWING & LINING:

All areas reinforced with TWARON fabric are securely sewn to the rest of the jeans with thick yarn to prevent movement in case of a fall. All reinforced areas are carefully lined and the TWARON is never in direct contact with skin, in order to avoid any itching or discomfort when riding.

HEAVY QUALITY DENIM:

The main fabric is a 100% quality cotton and comes from a large European producer of denim. It weighs 12.5 oz, which allows better abrasion resistance.

UNI 13595 (PROTECTIVE CLOTHING FOR PROFESSIONAL MOTORCYCLE RIDERS):

The TWARON in PMJ jeans has been tested under the European standard EN 13595-2 (test method for determination of impact abrasion resistance) with a score of 7.15 seconds of resistance, in accordance with level 2. Subjecting the same material under the European standard EN 13595 part 4 (requirements and test methods for impact cut resistance), the result is in accordance with level 1.
